My name is Jonathan Riva I was born in Calgary, Alberta and at the age of nine moved to White rock, B.C. I was always interested in Art fundamentals since I can remember and followed it as a passion on my own for many years, from mediums such as sculpting, drawing, and painting. It wasn't till fellow family members became successful in 3d that I noticed how much it appealed to me, so I began to research and then discovered the greatest job in the world, 3d artist.

I have taken 1 year at AI, upon which I decided to study at home since the program more focused on animation and wasn't in my best interests to continue. I continued to get personal lessons from some former teachers trying all aspects, and not to limit myself to my passion of modeling.

After long I decided along with advise from mentors and fellow industry professionals to focus solely on modeling, and this is where I am at today.
